Anthony Burton, PhD

The primary practitioner, Anthony Burton, PhD, encountered the power of Reiki when he fell from a tall ladder, breaking three ribs and snapping the end from his radius bone, at the wrist. The simple application of a few minutes Reiki by a nurse at the hospital, allowed him to be pain-free without drugs for long enough to get the sleep he needed that night. He resolved to learn more about this practice, and ultimately found his first Reiki teacher, Sensei Patty Payne at Southeastern Reiki Institute. From her, he obtained his training and attunements all the way to Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Tibetan style of Reiki. Later, he also studied and qualified as Reiki Master Teacher in Practical Reiki at the Reiki Awakening Academy. He has also studied and attained mastership in Animal Reiki, through Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki.

Anthony studied EFT/tapping at International Metaphysical University, attaining both Level I and Level II certifications, and is a trained, certified meditation teacher through the Natura Training Institute. He has completed Level 1, Level 2, and Expert Level Sound Healer training with Life Changing Energy institute, which included the use of singing bowls, tuning forks, and other sound modalities.

Other training and certifications include coursework in Chakra Clearing, Energy Therapy, Crystal Therapy, attainment of Certified Chios Master, and initiation as a Munay Ki shamanic practitioner.

Anthony has baccalaureate degrees in Literature and Education, a Master’s in Computer Education, and a PhD in Metaphysics. He also is an ordained Minister and Interfaith Chaplain.
