HEALING DRUM CIRCLE at Mountain LIght Unitarian Universalist church

On March 31, 2023, at 6:00 PM, Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church in Ellijay, GA, will host a healing drum circle co-led by Tony Burton and Dee Stennett. The healing drum circle is for those who would like to experience the healing power of rhythm, group intention, Reiki, and shamanic work. Attendees will be given the opportunity to share their personal concerns if they wish. All will join their hearts and minds with healing intentions for one another, aiding this by combining their intentions with the rhythmic sounds of percussion instruments such as drums and rattles. Attendees will be given the opportunity to experience personal healing for individual needs if they wish, or may simply add their personal healing intentions to the group experience. Dee and Tony will provide Reiki and shamanic healing to those who wish it, as the percussive rhythms wash over them. The entire healing circle will open and close with short meditations.

Rev. Tony Burton, PhD, is a holistic health practitioner with training and certification in Reiki (as a Reiki Master in three different styles), shamanic healing, sound therapy, and other healing modalities. He has a holistic health practice in Ranger, GA, called Spectrum Holistic Health.

Dee Stennett is a long-time practitioner of holistic and energy healing practices, with training in Reiki, shamanic healing, and acupuncture. Dee also taught acupuncture for 20 years at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, and has an energy healing practice in Ellijay, GA.
